Moving ...

From now on, all posts that would normally have come here will go to "Variety SF" instead. Over a period of time, current contents of this site will also move there.

I am finding it difficult to maintain multiple sites. Sorry.

Robert Heinlein's bibliography

I normally begin at his bibliographic entry at ISFDB. But research on just a few of his stories has shown that this apparently rather comprehensive database is substantially incomplete; it won't pay to rely on it as the ultimate word on the subject.

Wikipedia entry on the subject has a lot of detail but still appears to be quite incomplete.

I might add something more on the subject later. For now, just this word of caution.

"Life-Line": Soothsaying can be dangerous business!

Introducing the Robert Heinlein Fansite

Now that I am reasonably familiar with the works of Asimov & Clarke, I keep seeing their themes repeated in modern sf by all sorts of authors.

Since Heinlein is the only one of the "big 3" of sf I haven't read, I thought may be a familiarity with that will prepare me to better judge & appreciate more modern authors. Hence this project.

At present, I am zero on Heinlein. A few months down, I would like to be reasonably educated on his works.

I am still in the process of collecting his bibliography, & working out a reading order. Regular posts should begin appearing before the middle of July 2007.
